First Year Program

Registration is now open!

Session 1: July 9-14, 2018   |   Session 2: July 16-21, 2018

Specially designed for newly-bridged Boy Scouts or beginners to Scouting, our First Year Summer Camp provides an easy transition into leaving home for Boy Scout Summer Camp without the long distance and preparation that may be too much for a newly bridged Boy Scout. This camp focuses on Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class Advancement requirements that would be difficult to complete in a traditional merit badge focused setting. Scouts will also work on the Swimming Merit Badge, an important prerequisite for other Aquatics awards. Use this as a primary camp or as a supplemental camp to prepare your First Year Scouts for Summer Camp later in the year. Cost: $260/Scout before April 1st, $275/Scout after April 1st, $90/adult.
